Account numbers beginning with 100 (NCWA water only customers) The failure of a Customer to pay water charges duly imposed shall result in the automatic imposition of the following penalties:

1.      Nonpayment on the due date will subject the account to a penalty of ten percent of the delinquent account balance on the next business day.

2.      Nonpayment of delinquent account balance within fifteen calendar days after the due date will result in the water being shut off from the Customer’s property.

3.      In the event it becomes necessary for the Authority to shut off the water from the Customer’s property for nonpayment, a fee of $50.00, set by the Authority in its rate schedule, will be charged for reconnection of the service.

    A RESOLUTION ADOPTING SEWER RATES AN OTHER CHARGES FOR FURNISHING SANITARY SEWER SERVICE BY THE NOBLE COUNTY COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, Ohio Revised Code Section 6117.02 and 6103.02 authorizes and requires the Board
of County Commissioners to fix reasonable rates to be charged for the use of sanitary sewer, sewer
treatment facilities, and also requires the establishment of these rates shall be at least sufficient to pay for all of the cost of operation and maintenance of such distribution, collection and treatment facilities; and
WHEREAS, Noble County established the first and last rate resolution on February 23,2022
number 22-2-3; and
WHEREAS, Village of Caldwell has raised the base rate for sewer services by one percent on
January every calendar year unless otherwise altered by the Village of Caldwell by future legislation,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Commissioners, Noble County, State of Ohio as follows:

  • Section 1: That the monthly rates for Sanitary Sewer service to customers of the Noble County Sewer District, Noble County, Ohio for all billings on or after January 21,2024 or next billing cycle and shall be as follows:
      • $9.22 per 1000 gallons of water usage
      • $21.00 flat rate charge per month for the operation of the Noble County Sanitary Sewer project.
      • $54.50 flat rate charge per month for the operation of Lashley Addition customers.
  • Section 2: This Resolution shall become effective with the January 8, 2024 billing.
