Noble County is located in the heart of Southeastern Ohio, thirty minutes from Marietta and Cambridge and fewer than two and a half hours from Columbus, Cleveland and Pittsburgh. Noble County is located in the heart of the Marcellus & Utica Shale Play.

The county is bisected by I-77, which connects Cleveland to southern Ohio. Thirty minutes north of the county’s center is I-70, one of the nation’s busiest interstates.

Fun Fact: Noble County is home to International Converter (A Novolex Brand), a leader in foil laminates; Magnum Magnetics, maker of Magnum flexible magnetic material; and Ames True Temper, tools made in America.

Noble County, Ohio Established 1851: The last of the 88 counties to be formed in the state, it was named in honor of James Noble, one of the county’s first settlers.
